Salt Lake Police seek suspects after multiple robberies

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, July 18, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City police are looking for a pair of suspects after three robberies in the same area of the city Monday afternoon.

The suspects entered the Boost Mobile Store at 715 S. 900 West just before 1:10 p.m., indicated they had weapons and demanded money, the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

Once they received the money they fled the store and entered a La Palmita Spanish market in the same strip mall and repeated their demands. They fled that store eastbound on foot.

About 10 minutes later, the two suspects entered the Blue Boutique at 1051 S. 300 West and carried out another robbery.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid 20s, who wore a leopard print baseball cap, white shirt, black pants and possibly a lip ring. The second suspect is a Hispanic male in his mid 20s, wearing a black bandanna or ski mask, and a long-sleeve shirt with a green T-shirt over it.
