WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, June 9, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have found the car they believe was used in what they are calling an intentional fatal hit-and-run Wednesday afternoon at 4100 South and 3600 West.

On Friday, West Valley City Police tweeted that the vehicle was located on a residential street in Taylorsville. No one was in the car when it was found.

Police are treating the hit and run as a homicide after it was learned that the victim, Jeremy Hardman, 47, from West Valley City, and a friend had an argument with the suspect. At some point, the suspect got in a vehicle, made a U-turn and hit the victim as he was in the crosswalk.

The driver is described as a Caucasian or Hispanic man believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, with buzz-cut hair. No description of his clothing was available.

WVC Police tweeted on Friday, “Investigators continue to follow up on leads and tips from the public and are actively working this homicide case.”
