Police ID 2 persons of interest after West Jordan homicide

WEST JORDAN, Utah, Nov. 6, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police in West Jordan are asking for the public’s help locating two persons of interest in a homicide that took place last Wednesday.

The victim, Dan Zuniga-Guzman, 22, was found dead in the middle of the street near 6700 S. 4800 West, the West Jordan Police Department said in a news release.

Neighbors told police they heard some sort of ruckus about 1:15 a.m. Nov. 1.

Minutes later, they found the man’s body and believed he’d been involved in an auto-pedestrian accident.

When police arrived, they quickly came to the conclusion the man had been shot and was a homicide victim.

Now police are looking for a man and a woman who they believe to have pertinent information about the death of Zuniga-Guzman.

Officials said they would like to speak with Jesus Molina, 23, who is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and approximately 195 pounds. Molina is believed to be driving a maroon-colored 2005 Nissan Altima with Utah license plate X153T. Police are also looking for Breaaunah Huff, 22, who is 5 feet 4 inches tall and approximately 170 pounds.

Officials added this is the only information that will be released about the incident at this time.
