Police Investigate Three Identical Strong-Arm Robberies At Salt Lake City Gas Stations

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 30, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City police say one person may be responsible for three robberies that occurred late Tuesday night.

The first robbery took place at 10:42 p.m. at the Shell gas station at 2112 E. 2100 South, officials said.

Within the next 15 minutes, the Shell gas station at 502 E. 2100 South and the 7-Eleven at 420 E. 2700 South were also robbed.

In all three cases, a male suspect entered the gas station, intimated he had a weapon and demanded money from the till. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the store on foot. After the first robbery, he was seen heading southbound on 2100 East.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, young, between 5-feet-6-inches and 5-feet-8-inches tall, with a thin build, wearing a red hoodie under a white shirt.

He was also described as having a deep voice.
