MAGNA, Utah, Nov. 25, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Two men who left their vehicle and got into an altercation with some pedestrians ended up in the hospital with stab wounds late Friday night.

Lt. K. Malone, Unified Police Department, said police were called to the scene, at 3500 S. Mystic Way (8495 West), at 11:24 p.m.

The incident doesn’t appear to be gang-related, Malone said, and was possibly more of a road rage situation. He said the victims did not know the other individuals.

Malone said the people who were on foot were described as two males and possibly one female.

The men who were stabbed got back into their car and drove themselves to the hospital, Malone said. One man had superficial wounds, and the other’s wounds were more substantial but not life-threatening. Both victims were in stable condition.

A considerable amount of blood was visible on the street while officials examined the scene.

Malone said the incident is still under investigation.
