WEST JORDAN, Utah, Sept. 19, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for the driver of a silver truck who hit a pedestrian in West Jordan late Monday night.
The incident happened just before midnight in the area of 6900 S. Temple Drive., Sgt. Joe Monson, West Jordan Police Department, told Gephardt Daily.
Monson said the victim was walking along the side of the road, though it’s not yet clear whether he was on a pavement or walking on the roadway. He was hit from behind by the silver truck. The driver then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with lacerations to his head. He is in stable condition.
