TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, March 15, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Police are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery of a Taylorsville credit union Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect entered Deseret First Credit Union at 4645 S. 2700 West just before 5 p.m., according to police.

Officials said the man brandished a weapon while demanding cash from a teller. He then made his getaway after jumping into a box van driven by a second person.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black and red University of Utah hoodie.
