PROVO, Utah, May 30, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Search and rescue personnel from several agencies will attempt to recover a drowning victim from the Provo River on Tuesday morning.

In a Facebook post, Provo Police said dam officials will reduce flows in the river so officers can safely conduct their searches.

The public is asked to stay clear of the river and be aware that dangerous flows will resume later in the day.

Everyone is urged to use caution anywhere near the river, as the flow is very fast and dangerous at the present time.
