Police seek driver who hit, killed 19-year-old man in West Valley City

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Aug. 25, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are investigating the death of a young man who was hit by a car in the area of 1900 W. 3100 South on Tuesday, Aug. 15.

According to a Facebook post from West Valley City Police, Linus Alsano, 19, was hit by a car and killed. The driver of the car did not stop.

The post states:

“We are asking anyone who may have driven through that area between 10:45 and 11:15 pm on August 15th to consider whether you could have hit something, but possibly not known what it was. If this is a possibility, we need to hear from you.”

Police are asking anyone who saw something, heard something or who may have any information that could help in this case, to call 801-840-4000. Tips can be made anonymously.

  1. How could you hit a human being hard enough to end their life and not know it? I just don’t feel that’s possible. I am sending love, comfort and strength to his family and friends.
