Police seek public’s help identifying suspects in two Salt Lake City robberies

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 20, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects from two different robberies in Salt Lake City.

The first robbery occurred at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Chegoya Market, 202 S. 900 East, according to a news release from SLCPD. After the robbery, both suspects fled the scene, possibly in a dark-colored SUV.

The second robbery took place at 2:13 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at 7-Eleven, 1609 S. 1100 East. The suspects fled in a dark-colored, smaller type of SUV.

The suspects used a firearm in both cases and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Both suspects are described as adult male Polynesian, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, big frame, late 20s and wearing black and blue sweatshirts, tan boots, and white shoes.

Salt Lake City Police Department asks anyone who may know the identity and/or location of these suspects to call (801) 799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by text to 274637.
