Police Seek Separate Maverik and 7-Eleven Robbers

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – August 10, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City Police Department is searching for two men who robbed a 7-Eleven at gun point on Saturday as well as a Sunday Maverik robber.

Police said the first two suspects entered the 7-Eleven at 776 South 1300 East on Saturday, brandished a gun and demanded cash at around 3:20 a.m. Both of the suspects fled in an unknown direction. Suspect number one is described as a Hispanic male adult, approximately five feet five inches wearing a black hoodie and black shorts, while suspect number two is said to have been a Hispanic male adult, similar build, wearing a black shirt, white shoes and a white shirt over his face.

Meanwhile a man entered a Maverik store at 615 South 200 West intimidated that he had a pistol, and demanded cash, at 4:14 a.m. The victim gave the cash to the suspect and the suspect left the store heading northbound. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, in his 30’s, five feet six inches, 170 pounds, wearing a black flat brimmed hat, T-shirt, black basketball shorts and dark green shoes.
