Police seek suspect after armed robbery at Salt Lake City 7-Eleven

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 9, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery at a Salt Lake City 7-Eleven in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The incident occurred at the convenience store at 490 N. Redwood Rd. at 2:56 a.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

“A male entered the 7-Eleven, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money,” the news release said. “The clerk complied and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.”

The suspect was wearing a ski mask with a blue bandana over his face along with a black hoodie and jeans.
