LINDON, Utah, Feb. 13, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A Sandy woman is in the Utah County Jail after she admitted to police she had a large quantity of drugs in her bra.

Lindon Police officers, who had already spotted a small baggie of a crystal substance on the seat of the woman’s car, called in a female officer to search Candida Marie Ball Olsen, 42, before taking her into custody.

The incident began on Sunday, when Olsen was driving a male companion in a car, and reportedly made a traffic violation.

Officers were interested in the man, and arrested him on an outstanding warrant.

“He was placed under arrest, and asked if he could give the driver, Candida Ball Olsen, a kiss good bye,” the probable cause statement says.

“I told him that would be fine and we walked to the drivers side. Candida unbuckled her seatbelt and stood up to give him a kiss. Under where she was sitting on her drivers seat I saw a small baggie with a crystal substance inside. Candida was placed in handcuffs.

“As we were placing the handcuffs on her she told me that she had a large amount (1/4 pound) in her bra.”

The female officer retrieved a quarter pound of meth.

“Candida admitted under Miranda that the meth she had just purchased in Salt Lake and it was her plan to cut it up and resale it for a profit,” the statement said. “She told me she purchased the meth for a $1,000 and planned on making $200 dollars once she sold it.”

Olsen was booked on charges of knowingly dispensing, producing or manufacturing a control substance, a second-degree felony, and improper use of stop/turn signal.
