Police: SWAT teams respond to armed, barricaded woman in Taylorsville

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, Feb. 22, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — SWAT teams responded to a residence in Taylorsville after a woman threatened her roommate with a shotgun, police said Wednesday night.

According to a tweet from the Unified Police Department at approximately 9:45 p.m., the suspect was barricaded inside a residence in the area of 4600 S. 2200 West.

Police said the 33-year-old woman threatened her roommate.

At 10:35 p.m., police updated the woman has been taken safely into custody, and is being evaluated by paramedics.
