MILLCREEK, UTAH – April 9, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Police who were responding to another call, didn’t plan on tasing a man and taking him to jail tonight. Officers responding to a domestic case at 3300 South and 2000 East stopped a couple they thought might be involved in the original complaint.

As the investigating officer was identifying the 23-year old man, the suspect fled on foot. “He was chased down. While he was taken in to custody, he was resisting arrest and in the process of resisting, he was tased,” says Sergeant Brent Davis, of the Unified Police Department.

The man will be booked in the Salt Lake County Jail for Fleeing from an Officer, Resisting Arrest, and several other misdemeanor and felony warrants.
