‘Porch Pirate’ sought by West Jordan Police

WEST JORDAN, Utah, Nov. 27, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying what they call a “porch pirate,” suspected of stealing a package from in front of a West Jordan home.

The theft occurred on Big Spring Drive, which is 8020 S. and 5100 West, Nov. 16 at approximately 4:30 p.m., the West Jordan Police Department said in a Facebook post.

The alleged suspect is a Caucasian male with short dark hair, and was wearing a green shirt, a black coat, black shorts and gray sneakers.

He was driving a gray 4-door Pontiac with a sunroof. Detectives were not able to get the license plate number.
