SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Feb. 15, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who allegedly robbed a Shell gas station early Tuesday morning.
According to a news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department, the robbery took place at approximately 6:20 a.m. at the Shell station at 874 E. 1300 South.
A man entered a store and approached a female clerk, according to the news release. The suspect placed his hand in his coat, and the woman heard a “click,” but no gun was seen.
The victim gave the suspect money from the register and he left on foot. The suspect is described as an adult male, unknown race, with a raspy voice, and wearing a black, heavy coat with a fur-lined hood, gray baggy sweat pants and black gloves.
