SLCPD Police Seek Help Identifying ‘Busy Bee’ Robbery Suspect

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, July 18, 2016 (Gephardt Daily)  — The Salt Lake City Police Department is looking for a robber who demanded money from the US Bank located inside Smiths, 876 E. 800 South, while wearing a Salt Lake Bees shirt.

Police said in a news release the man contacted the teller and demanded money. He left on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a light-skin, black adult, 5-feet-10-inches to 6-feet tall, with a thin build. He was wearing black shorts, a khaki green SL Bees T-shirt and a black ball cap with the letters “ill” on the front.

It also appears that the suspect has a large tattoo on his left forearm, but it is unclear what it is.

SLCPD officials are asking anyone who may know the identity of this person of interest to call 801-799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by text to 274637.
