Roommate argument in Kearns leaves 1 shot, in critical condition, 1 at large

KEARNS, Utah, May 5, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — An argument between two male roommates in Kearns left one man shot, in critical condition, and the other man at large, police say.

Police were called to the scene, at 5363 W. 5150 South, on Saturday morning, and found the 29-year-old victim, who had been shot twice. He was transported to a local hospital.

Police are looking for the other roommate, who left the scene.

Unified Police officials later tweeted that a car believed to be involved in the suspect’s escape, a convertible 2004 Chrysler Sebring, UT X78 9XU , was located at 5332 Crockett Drive, Kearns.

Officers searched the house, the tweet said, but the suspect was not inside.
