Police searching for 14-year-old ‘runaway’ from St. George

ST. GEORGE, Utah, March 23, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — St. George Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 14-year-old girl who they say ran away from her home last Wednesday.

Police said in a news release that Sonja Harmon left the area of 700 S. 400 East on March 15 at approximately 6:50 p.m., in a gray 2008 Honda Civic with Utah license plate W969PP. Police have not yet said who might be driving that vehicle.

Sonja is described as Native American and 5 feet 7 inches tall with brown hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion.

Authorities added she may be heading to the Salt Lake City area. Anyone with information or who sees the car is asked to call police dispatch at 435-627-4300.
