SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 12, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for two men who robbed La Manzanita Market at gunpoint Monday night.

A white Ford Explorer pulled up in front of the store, at 1437 W. 1000 North, a little before 9:30 p.m., Salt Lake City Police Lt. Gary Trost told Gephardt Daily.

Two men, both armed with guns, entered the store and demanded money from the manager, Trost said. They then left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and drove off in the Explorer.

No one was injured during the robbery.

It was believed the Explorer went eastbound toward the freeway, but police were not able to locate it.

The store’s manager speaks Spanish and police had to bring in someone to translate, so a physical description of the suspects was not immediately available.

Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to call Salt Lake City Police at 801-799-3000.
