Police search for 3 suspects who robbed man in wheelchair in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Jan. 4, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for three suspects who pushed a man out of his wheelchair and robbed him in Salt Lake City Tuesday evening.

A news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department said that just before 5:15 p.m., the victim was sitting outside an apartment building at 521 S. 500 East in his wheelchair when three suspects pushed the victim to the rear of the apartments.

The men then pushed the victim out of his wheelchair and stole his wallet. The suspects fled the area on foot.

The suspects are described as three Hispanic male adults in their 50s, and one of the men was wearing a black hoodie.
