Salt Lake Police seek assistance identifying bank robbery suspect

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, May 24, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man they say robbed a bank Saturday.

The suspect entered the Wells Fargo bank inside the Fresh Market at 2040 S. 2300 East at approximately 4:30 p.m, and handed a note to the teller demanding cash. The suspect claimed he had a gun, but no weapon was seen.

The suspect is described as Caucasian with “scruff” on his face, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black and tan “Smokehouse Vapor” baseball cap, a T-shirt and jeans.
