WEST JORDAN, Utah, May 20, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — West Jordan police are investigating after shots were allegedly fired outside a residence where a party was underway Saturday night, officials said.

Sgt. Alex Darelli with West Jordan Police told Gephardt Daily officials responded to the shots fired call in the area of 5400 W. Cyclamen Cove (6440 South) and found a couple of casings.

Darelli said nobody was injured that police have located and no homes or vehicles that were struck.

“We’re still investigating, trying to figure out exactly what happened, who was involved, there’s limited information as far as any leads or suspects at this point,” Darelli said.

Darelli added there was a party going on in the home but the shots were fired outside and police are working to investigate if there is a connection between the gathering and the incident.

The party goers were interviewed following the incident, Darelli said.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information is made available.
