BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah, Feb. 25, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A Salt Lake Express shuttle bus carrying seven occupants crashed on southbound Interstate 15 in Box Elder County Saturday afternoon, officials said.

The incident occurred at mile post 393, just north of the town of Plymouth, just before 2 p.m., according to Utah Highway Patrol officials. One person suffered minor injuries.

The shuttle bus, which was headed for the Salt Lake International Airport, drifted into the median and crashed into a guardrail, then rolled and came to a stop on the driver’s side, officials said.

The bus was carrying six passengers and the driver; one woman was transported to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries. No one else was injured.

Officials believe fatigue was a contributing factor in the crash.
