Police arrest serial robber in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 27, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A serial robbery suspect has been arrested in Salt Lake City, officials said Tuesday.

Enes Mulalic, 30, allegedly robbed the Key Bank in Layton as well as a Sinclair convenience store in Salt Lake and a Phillips 66 gas station in Midvale, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.

Mulalic was apprehended Friday by the Salt Lake City Police Street Crimes Unit, as part of a joint investigation with the Unified Police Department, Layton Police Department, and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force. He has been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery thus far.

In at least one of the robberies, the suspect fled in an “older” Honda Civic or similar car with faded black paint and dark wheels. That vehicle has not yet been located.
