SLCPD search for suspects after armed robbery at market

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 23, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for two suspects after an armed robbery at Anaya’s Market in Salt Lake City Thursday night.

The robbery happened at the market at 660 N. 1200 West just before 8:40 p.m., according to a news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department.

Two men entered the store and approached the cash register, the news release said. One of the men produced a handgun and demanded cash. After the employee complied, the suspects fled the store.

Both suspects were described as black, with thin builds, and were wearing dark hoodies and bandanas.
