MAGNA, Utah, June 9, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Three people are in custody, suspected in the kidnapping and assault of a teenage girl, as well as a home-invasion robbery that Unified Police say played out shortly before 2 a.m. Friday.

According to a probable cause statement, Eduardo Flores, 18, David Gonzalez-Reyes, 18, and Alisha Jimenez, 19, were arrested and booked into Salt Lake County Jail on suspicion of carjacking and pistol-whipping the teen victim in her car in the Smith’s parking lot, where she was waiting for a friend.

According to the statement, they allegedly then forced the victim, at gunpoint, to take them to a home in the area, where the two males entered through the basement and beat and robbed two people there.

The teen girl told police she was able to run away and seek help after the two males went into the house and the female suspect stayed in the car. The girl was spotted by a Unified Police officer who saw that she was injured and called for medical help for her. He then called for backup and the suspects were arrested a short time later.

The suspects now face multiple felony charges of aggravated assault, kidnapping, robbery and burglary.
