Taylorsville Family Escapes Early Morning Inferno

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, July 27, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — An early morning fire in Taylorsville heavily damaged a family’s home Wednesday.

Unified Firefighters were dispatched to 4777 S. 1477 West around 5:30 a.m. When they arrived they found thick smoke and flames pouring from the residence.

Ten people and a dog managed to get out safely. They told investigators the fire broke out shortly after they heard what they thought was an explosion.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze, which caused extensive damage throughout the home.
