TOOELE COUNTY, Utah, April 25, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A 36-year-old man from Cedar Fort is dead after a rollover crash in Tooele County in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Joshua D. Anderson, the Utah Highway Patrol said in a news release.

The incident happened on State Route 73 at mile post 9 just before 5 a.m. Tuesday, the news release said.

A 1995 Honda Accord was traveling westbound on the two-lane highway at a high rate of speed. The driver failed to negotiate a slight curve in the roadway, and the Honda crossed the eastbound travel lane and went off the shoulder.

The car then struck a culvert and rolled multiple times. The car came to rest on its top, facing southeast.

Anderson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and was fatally injured.
