SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah, July 20, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A Utah Department of Transportation employee was seriously injured Thursday morning in an accident involving a semi.
Morgan McCarthey was inspecting a bridge near Jeremy Ranch at about 11 a.m. when a semi traveling west on Interstate 80 swerved and struck two of three UDOT trucks doing bridge work.
McCarthy was outside of his vehicle, and was seriously injured, according to tweets from UDOT.
