Unified Police Looking For Woman Who Used Cloned Credit Card

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, April 27, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police in Taylorsville are requesting help to identify a woman who used a fake credit card to purchase thousands of dollars in gift cards.

Police say the suspect used a cloned credit card on April 21 to make a series of unauthorized purchases of gift cards and merchandise at a variety of locations throughout the Salt Lake Valley.

The total loss to the victim is nearly $5,000.

Witnesses reported the woman drives a white Nissan passenger vehicle and speaks with a thick foreign accent.

Detectives have released the surveillance photos in hopes that someone might recognize her.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Taylorsville fraud detectives at 385-468-9447.
