INKOM, IDAHO – October 22, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – A West Valley City man died in a single vehicle rollover on I-15 in Idaho Wednesday night.

According to Idaho State Police, Talysha Wing, 25, of West Valley City, was driving north on I-15 just after 11 p.m., in a 2003 GMC pickup pulling a 30-foot trailer when she reportedly fell asleep at the wheel.  Wing woke up and over-corrected, steering into the median and across the highway into the southbound lanes.  The pickup and trailer overturned, blocking the entire southbound lanes.

Wing who was wearing a seatbelt and her two-month-old child who was in a child safety seat, but not restrained, were taken by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center.

Passenger Michael Havens, 38, also of West Valley, was not wearing a seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police and Bannock County Sheriff’s Office and Search and Rescue.
