VIDEO: Fire Officials Investigating Early Morning House Fire In Ogden

OGDEN, Utah, May 17, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials with Ogden Fire Department are trying to determine the cause of a fire that ripped through a vacant home early Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the scene of a structure fire at 963 E. Patterson St. just before 6. When they arrived, they saw smoke billowing from the roof.

Fifteen firefighters from Ogden City Fire Department and South Ogden Fire Department responded to the fire. The home is vacant and no injuries were reported.

The fire affected the basement and the first floor of the structure, causing $75,000 worth of damage.

The fire is still under investigation.
