Jan. 16 (UPI) — A speeding car went airborne on Sunday, crashing into a second-floor dental office in Orange County after hitting a median on the street.

The Santa Ana crash, which caused the white sedan to catch on fire, left the driver of the car dangling from the bottom of the vehicle until he could be rescued.

Police say the driver admitted to using drugs prior to the crash, which sent him and a passenger to the hospital with minor injuries.

Dramatic video captured the moment, showing a Nissan sedan soaring into the air and crashing into the building’s second floor.

Police say speed was a factor in the crash. The driver was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
