NEW YORK, April 6 (UPI) — Daniel Craig underwent surgery over the weekend.

The 47-year-old actor had a “minor procedure” while on Easter break from filming new James Bond film Spectre, reports the BBC.

“During a scheduled break, Daniel Craig had arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury. He will rejoin production on April 22nd at Pinewood [Studios],” a spokeswoman announced in a statement.

Former James Bond portrayer Roger Moore revealed Craig was injured on Twitter in February, writing:

“Sorry to hear Daniel Craig has sprained his knee on set #Spectre. Being 007 is not without its hazards. I’m available to step in if needed.”

Spectre marks Craig’s fourth appearance as James Bond, and opens in theaters Nov. 6. The movie is directed by Sam Mendes, and co-stars Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux and Christoph Waltz. Craig previously injured his head while filming a car chase scene for the film.
