March 10 (UPI) — A dashboard camera on a vehicle traveling in high winds on a Wisconsin road captured the moment a semi with an empty trailer tipped onto its side.

Sean Chambers of Chambers Trucking LLC, which posted the video to Facebook, was on County Road A in Dodge County on Wednesday afternoon when he noticed the truck in front of him was being bandied about by the wind.

“I just couldn’t believe it. It was unreal to me,” Chambers told WITI-TV. “His back end of the trailer kept coming up off the ground and he was trying to compensate for it, and then after the last hill we went past he just tipped over.”

Chambers said he helped the driver escape from the toppled truck. He said the driver, who avoided serious injuries, told him the trailer was empty.

Chambers said the incident was an important reminder about safe driving in high winds.

“Only thing you can do is slow down. The faster you go, the harder it is to keep control,” he said.
