‘Get Out’ tops the North American box office with $30.5M

Feb. 26 (UPI) — Jordan Peele’s comedy-horror film “Get Out” is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $30.5 million in receipts, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is “The LEGO Batman” movie with $19 million, followed by “John Wick: Chapter Two” at No. 3 with $9 million, “The Great Wall” at No. 4 with $8.7 million and “Fifty Shades Darker” at No. 5 with $7.7 million.

Rounding out the top tier are “Fist Fight” at No. 6 with $6.4 million, “Hidden Figures” at No. 7 with $5.9 million, “La La Land” at No. 8 with $4.6 million, “Split” at No. 9 with $4.1 million and “Lion” at No. 10 with $3.8 million.
