WASHINGTON, Aug. 24 (Richard Tomkins) — Potomac River Group LLC is to administer polygraph tests for the U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

Forecast International, a market analysis firm, says the polygraph tests will support the Navy’s Insider Threat program to prevent information leaks, such as those committed by former Army Pvt. Bradley Manning, now known as Chelsea Manning, and those allegedly committed by Edward Snowden, a former contractor with the National Security Agency.

The award to obtain certified contractor support is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity fixed-price contract worth $35.3 million and includes a 60-month ordering period.

The U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office, Pennsylvania, is the contracting agency. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C.; San Diego, Calif.; Virginia Beach, Va.; Pensacola, Fla.; Pearl Harbor, Hi.; Fort Meade, Md.; San Antonio, Texas; and Hanover, Md.

Work under the contract is expected to be completed by August 2020.
