CONEY ISLAND, New York, July 10, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Joe Perry, legendary lead guitarist for the rock band Aerosmith, collapsed during a New York concert Sunday night.

According to the New York Post, Perry went into possible cardiac arrest while performing with Johnny Depp and Alice Cooper and their band, Hollywood Vampires.

Video posted on YouTube showed Perry struggling onstage before staggering into the wings where he collapsed moments later.

Medical staff and law enforcement officers were on scene able to revive the 65-year-old Perry before rushing him to Coney Island Hospital, where he is said to be stable.

Cooper addressed the crowd about hour into the concert, telling Perry had been feeling ill prior to the performance. He later posted a message on social saying, “Thanks to everyone asking about our brother Joe Perry. He is stable right now, with family & is under the best care.”
