HURRICANE, Utah, Jan. 2, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The Hurricane Police Department says it has investigated Sean Timothy O’Neill after allegations of an inappropriate sexual relationship with an underage girl, and police are now asking any other possible victims to come forward.

According to a police news release on Facebook, the girl stated that O’Neill contacted her on Facebook Messenger and used several difference aliases.

Eventually, the two met at O’Neill’s place of business and then at his home.

“During this time inappropriate/illegal sexual activity occurred and was later reported to the Police Department. Investigators interviewed and arrested Mr. O’Neill, he was booked into PCF on multiple charges and is being held on $75,000 cash only bail,” the release says.

Investigators are still following up on the incident.

According to the release, O’Neill is a registered sex offender. He previously was convicted of enticing a minor over the Internet.

Because of his history and this most recent offense, HCPD is seeking any other possible victims who have come in contact with O’Neill recently, either in person or on any social media.

Anyone with information regarding any incidents with O’Neill is asked to call the 24- hour police dispatch center at 435-627-4999.
