FARMINGTON, Utah, April 13, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A Layton man has been booked into the Davis County Jail after investigators found close to 40,000 adult-themed images of children on his laptop.
Anthony Allen Chatelain, 49, faces eight counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony.
Chatelain was investigated after undercover investigators from two agencies learned of shared pornographic images being downloaded from peer networks, including BitTorrent, to his IP address.
The graphic images were of pre-pubescent girls, according to a court document.
“Anthony admitted to being highly addicted to child pornography and downloads it daily,” the statement says.
