PROVO CANYON, Utah, Sept. 25, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Orem Police have identified the victim of a fatal traffic accident near the mouth of Provo Canyon Friday afternoon.
The deceased is Mike Taylor, 70, from Orem, officials said in a Facebook post Monday.
According to Orem Police officials, Taylor was driving on U.S. 189 near 800 North at about 3:30 p.m. when he made a turn and lost control of his vehicle, and it rolled.
Taylor, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was alone in the vehicle.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
