Man seriously injured in Little Cottonwood Canyon rollover

SANDY, Utah, April 29, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A 52-year-old man was transported to the hospital by air ambulance after his vehicle rolled in Little Cottonwood Canyon on Sunday night.

Unified Police Detective Ken Hansen told Gephardt Daily the man was in serious condition, and medical personnel were especially concerned about his badly injured arm.

In a tweet, UPD said the man lost control of his car and hit a rock, causing the car to roll down a steep embankment.

The rollover occurred just west of Snowbird as the driver was going down the canyon.
