TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, Dec. 11, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Police officials are investigating an armed robbery Monday night at an ATM at Wells Fargo Bank, 3981 S. 4000 West.

Unified Police Lt. Bill Robertson told Gephardt Daily the robbery occurred at about 7:45 p.m. when a woman pulled up to the ATM.

“She was sitting there in her car with the window rolled down, and the man walked up between her and the ATM, pointed a gun at her and took her money,” Robertson said.

The man then fled westbound on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 230 pounds.

He was wearing a blue hoodie with a white emblem, and blue jeans. The hoodie was pulled up and his face was partially covered.

Lt. Robertson said detectives have video from a business across the street that shows the suspect leaving the area, and they will be viewing the bank’s video Tuesday.

The victim wasn’t injured, but she was “pretty shaken up” by the incident, Robertson said.

Anyone who has any information about this robbery is asked to call Unified Police at 801-743-7000.
