SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 2, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for the suspects in two armed robberies that occurred very early Monday.

Lt. Gary Trost, Salt Lake City Police Department, said one robbery took place in the Avenues and one on the city’s west side.

Both were personal robberies in which the victims were held up at gunpoint and their personal belongings, including cellphones, were taken.

The victims were on foot when they were robbed.

The suspects are three or four Hispanic males, Trost said. They were wearing dark clothing and hoodies.

Trost told Gephardt Daily the victim in one of the incidents described the suspects’ vehicle as a newer model, black Dodge Charger with aluminum rims and tinted windows.

The vehicle had a Utah “Arches” license plate.

Trost said no one was injured in either robbery, and they both happened very quickly.

Police are asking anyone who may have information about these incidents to call Salt Lake City Police at 801-799-3000.
