Salt Lake City police seek victims of suspected child abuser

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 6, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City Police Department is looking for possible victims of a suspect, James Crawford, who is being investigated for child abuse.

Based on statements made by Crawford, police believe there is at least one recent victim who has not been identified, as well as victims possibly dating back 20 years, the SLCPD said in a news release.

Crawford lived in the area of 800 E. 200 South for the majority of his life. He may have come into contact with juvenile victims in this area. Salt Lake City Police officials would like to hear from possible victims or people who know of possible victims in the case.

The Police Department asks anyone who may have information in connection with this suspect to call 801-799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by text to 274637.
