SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah, March 19, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — An apparent argument ended with a fatal stabbing Monday night in a South Salt Lake apartment.

South Salt Lake Police spokesman Sgt. Gary Keller told Gephardt Daily the 911 call came in just after 6 p.m. from an apartment at 2757 S. 300 East.

Keller said the call was made by a 38-year-old man at that address.

When officers arrived, they found the man’s 65-year-old father had been stabbed and was deceased at the scene.

Keller said the son was taken into custody without incident and was being interviewed by police.

No further details were available late Monday night.

The names of the father and son have not been released pending notification of family members.
