Suspects arrested in Morgan County wanted for drug crimes, theft in multiple cities, states

MOUNTAIN GREEN, Utah, May 3, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man and woman on a laundry list of charges related to illegal drugs, burglary and misrepresenting their identities.

Deputies say the man is wanted in connection with crimes up and down the Wasatch Front and in multiple states, and has been described as a career criminal.

In a news release posted Wednesday night on the Morgan County Sheriff’s Facebook page, officials said the male driver and his female passenger were spotted in a suspicious vehicle. When officers checked, they found the license plates did not match the vehicle.

The full list of charges filed against one or both of the suspects is:

  • Possession of meth
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Providing false information to a peace officer
  • Possession of burglary tools
  • Possession of stolen property
  • Driving on a suspended license
  • Driving without insurance
  • Driving with the plates of another vehicle

Both suspects were booked into jail. Their names were not released.

Morgan deputies are working with a number of other law enforcement agencies, as well as Federal Law Enforcement, as the investigation continues.
