SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – October 31, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Three children an adult have been critically injured after being struck by a pickup truck while trick-or-treating near 400 East, 2100 South.
According to Salt Lake City Police Lt. Martin Kaufmann, the three children, ages one-and-a half to three-years-old, were being pulled in a wagon while in a crosswalk on 2100 South when a Dodge pickup made a left hand turn from 400 East and struck all four.
The victims – whose identities have yet to be released – were taken by ground ambulance to University Hospital.
Investigators say they’ve yet to determine the cause of the accident.
